Commissioning Jamie Ward to design and make furniture to your requirements is not a difficult task; in fact we aim to make it a pleasurable and rewarding process with the commissioner involved through the process.

The commission process falls into four stages:-

1. Consultation
2. Design
3. Proposal of designs
4. Production

Consultation takes the form of the customer describing their requirements, maybe looking through Jamie’s portfolio, discussing materials and price guides.

Design’s will be produced after the consultation process and after Jamie has met the customers in their home or wherever the commission is to be homed. For it is important to gain the feel for the setting of the furniture and the tastes of the customer to be able to design for their requirements.

Proposal of designs take form in the media of water-colour presentations, perspective sketches or even fifth scale models.

Production of the furniture takes place only after the customer and Jamie Ward are happy to proceed and a deposit of 25% has been paid. Throughout the production process the customer is kept regularly informed on the production and progress of their furniture.
